Privacy / ownership
You own the journal.
That is a design constraint, not a slogan. Snap Strain is an independent collector app for iOS and Android. It is not a dispensary, not a lab, and not affiliated with any cultivator or trademark owner.
What the app collects
The journal — strains you add, notes, effects, flavors, ratings, THC / CBD fields, wishlist, and photos you attach — lives on your device. Optional cloud backup is opt-in. You can export a full backup and import it later.
- Sign-in is Apple on iOS, Google on Android, or continue as guest.
- Trade username is optional and only needed if you post or accept trades.
- Not directed at children. 21+ where cannabis is legal.
Photos and identification
When you Snap a strain, a resized photo may be sent to the identification provider (OpenRouter) so the app can suggest a name, chemotype, and confidence. Photos are not sold. You can still add strains manually without sending a photo.
Estimates are estimates
Identifications are visual estimates for personal journaling only — not lab tests, certificates of analysis, medical advice, or legal advice. Snap Strain does not verify potency, safety, or legality. Always follow local laws. Verify important identifications independently.
Subscriptions
Free includes a photo-ID allotment, your collection, and catalog browse. Optional Pro is an auto-renewing App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel it in the store account, not on this website.
What this site collects
This marketing site is static. The beta form sends App name, phone OS, and email to admin@snapcollectibles.com so we can issue a tester invite. No analytics SDK is bundled.
Android testers are shown the Play internal-test URL on the page after submit. Google Play does not automatically email testers. That URL stays inactive until the email is added to the tester list — allow up to a few hours.
